Paraprofessional Examination

The North Central Ohio Educational Service Center is offering Ohio’s paraprofessional online examination several times throughout the year. This examination measures skills and knowledge in reading, mathematics, and writing, as well as the ability to apply those skills and knowledge to assist in classroom instruction. Individuals should contact their school for district employment requirements for educational aides and paraprofessionals working in Title I programs.

The examination is limited to 2.5 hours, but test takers should plan for 3 hours to include pre-examination preparation. You must preregister and pay (nonrefundable) at least one week in advance. Payment can be made by money order, purchase order from school or credit card.

All examinations are at the North Central Ohio Educational Service Center, 928 West Market Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883. Map
